Uganda Cranes has dropped by two places in the latest Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) rankings released on 7th February 2019.

Uganda has slipped two places to 77th with 1320 points, from last month’s 75th.

Despite the fall, Uganda remains CECAFA region’s best footballing country.

Kenya drops by one place to 106th with 1210 points.

Sudan stays put at 127th (1120 points) as Rwanda improves two places to 135th (1094 points).

Tanzania rises one place to 137th (1087 points).

Like Tanzania, Burundi also rises one position with 1085 points while Ethiopia remains 151st with 1049 points.

South Sudan does not improve as they stay 164th with 994 points.

At 197th is Djibouti (896 points) whilst Somalia and neigbours Eritrea are both 204th with 868 points apiece.

The top 21 positions remain unchanged because of less playing time for countries between December 2018 and January 2019.

Belgium (1727 points), France (1726), Brazil (1676), Croatia (1634), England (1631), Portugal (1614), Uruguay (1609), Switzerland (1599), Spain (1591) and Denmark (1589) are the top ten countries.
