Twitter | Pirates Rguby Pirates flyhalf Ivan Magomu will be key

The biggest game of Matchday 12 of the 2018-19 National Rugby Premeirship will be at Kyadondo between Heathens and Pirates.

Heathens are the pace setters thus far and are yet to see defeat but will up for a stun test when they host the free scoring Sea Robbers.

Pirates were shorthanded during the first meeting between the two sides at Legends with Heathens wining 13-03. Bobby Musinguzi was without his trusted half back pairing of Ivan Magomu and Conrad Wanyama.

The duo is is back to what they were last season and Pirates are playing expansive and exciting ruby that favours their flying back line that has the likes of Isaac Massa, Baron Kasozi, Timothy Odong and Haruna Muhammad.

The defending champions were troubled in the line out during the first meeting and that could be an area that Heathens could again exploit especially with Charles Uhuru in fine form.

Michael Wokorach has been inspirational for Heathens as always and it will interesting to see his battle with Massa at opposite ends. New boys Paul Epilo and Paul Masendi have been impressive for the 2017 champions.

In other fixtures, rejuvenated Mongers will be involved in the early kick-off at Kyadondo with Buffaloes.

Second-placed Kobs are odd on to secure a bonus point in the lunchtime kick off at Legends.

Struggling Rhinos travel to a difficult hunting ground in Jinja to take on Hippos at Dam Waters, and if Hippos recent form is anything go by, Rhinos could leave Jinja without a point.

Warriors have a chance to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Mongers when they take on Walukuba Barbarians at Legends.
