Kirinya Jinja SS will hope history repeats itself when they host Police at The Mighty Arena in highly anticipated league game on Tuesday.

The previous five meetings suggest that a home team always win and Kirinya will hope they pick the routine win.

The Students come into the game on the back of a goalless draw away to Onduparaka while Police have won back to back games against Express and Ndejje University.

“Police is a very good high scoring side but also concede a lot,” said interim Kirinya Jinja SS coach Abbey Kikomeko. “But we are ready and hopefully, we shall pick our first season of the second round,” he added.

The hosts are buoyed by a number of players returning from injuries with George Mandela, Ismail Kawawulo while Isaac Isinde is in good shape but George Kasonko is out due to suspension.

For Police FC, Abdallah Mubiru is most likely to keep the same defence line that has kept two successive clean sheets with Joseph Ssentume and Edgar Bwogi at the heart of defence.

Juma Balinya will again be the man to trust with hunting for the desired goals with Johnson Odong and Pius Kagwa in support.

Police lie 7th on the 16-team log with 27 points while Kirinya Jinja SS are 11th with 21 points.
