SC Villa coach Douglas Bamweyana can finally afford a smile after his side won back to back games for the first time this season to go eight points off the red zone.

However, the gaffer wasn’t so much impressed as his side had to hold on for a 2-1 win over bottom placed Paidha Black Angels at Namboole despite taking full control in the opening exchanges.

Paidha could have easily picked a point after a rejuvenated second half and Bamweyana admits there was lapse in concentration but nonetheless, happy with the result.

“We had lapses in concentration especially in second half,” Bamweyana told a press briefing. “We allowed our opponents to dominate the game but am happy that we got the result,” he added.

SC Villa moved to 11th on the log for at least 24 hours pending a result from the Nyamityobora – Express duel.
