A controversial goal from Patrick Kaddu and a second from substitutes Mike Mutyaba were enough as KCCA saw off Bul 2-0 at Lugogo to go six points clear.

The two sides played a dull first half with only one clear cut chance – KCCA’s fell to Allan Okello who failed to beat goalie Hannington Ssebwalunyo while Hamis Tibita skied his effort after a cross from Umar Mukobe.

After the break, Allan Kyambadde came on for Jackson Nunda as the hosts increased the tempo up front in search for a breakthrough.

But they had to wait till the 68th minute to go in front when Kaddu stole possession from the Bul goalie who was in possession and bouncing ball and slotted into an empty net.

There was protest from Bul players but referee Shamirah Nabadda and assistant Musa Balikoowa didn’t hesitate to give the goal.

The visitors recollected themselves but their hope of snatching a point was put to rest when Mike Mutyaba scored the hosts second goal.

KCCA are now on 44 points while Bul remain 5th with 30 points.
