With the 2019 NSSF Kampala Hash Run just a day away, over 30 corporate companies have so far signed up for the event that is aimed at raising Shs 500M for the renovation of Public Schools.

NSSF has held the exciting and challenging Seven Hills Run for the last three years in partnership with the Kampala Hash House to raise money for KCCA Schools in Kampala.

Due to the inadequate funding, most of the public schools have dilapidated facilities and require refurbishment. As such, these schools require funding to be renovated and made habitable for students and several schools have benefitted from this charitable cause.

And so far, over 300 million has been collected and handed over to the management of KCCA.

Some of the companies that have signed up to support this year’s run include Stanbic Bank, Shanchart Bank, Baclays bank, DFCU Bank, Housing Finance, Pepsi, Umeme, Capital Markets Authority, ICEA, Citi Bank, Cementers, Galaxy FM, New Vision, Daily Monitor, Red Pepper, Simba, Selas Uganda Ltd, KFM

This year’s event, which will be the 4th edition of the run, takes place on Sunday, March 17 starting at Pearl of Africa Primary School, Nsambya which will also be the finishing point.
