Ismael Kiyonga | Kawowo Sports Allan Kateregga is on loan from Cape Town City

Ugandan international Allan Kateregga came off the bench to score twice as
Maritzburg rallied from a goal down to edge Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa premiership.

The former SC Victoria University and KCCA attacking midfielder replaced Ndlovu four minutes after falling behind thanks to Menzi Masuku goal on the counter in the 50th minute.

The dreadlocked Ugandan responded with strikes in the 80th and 88th minute to earn the hosts three points that keep them with hope of surviving the drop.

With 20 points at the base of the table but with five games to play,
Maritzburg could well avoid relegation but will need the likes of Kateregga to spur them like he did on the night.
