CAF Confederation Cup: Wins for RS Berkene, Nkana and Etoile Du Sahel

Kenyan giants Gor Mahia will have a mountain to climb if they are to reach the semi-finals of the Caf Confederation Cup after they lost 2-0 at home to RS Berkene of Morocco.

Francis Kahata scored an own goal in the 24^th minute before Bakr El Hilal sealed the win in the second half.

Erisa Ssekisambu came on as a substitute for the experienced Denis Oliech in the 69^th minute but could do nothing to change the scoreline.

In Tunis, Uganda international Jamal Salim conceded three times as Al Hilal of Sudan lost 3-1 to Tunisia’s Etoile Du Sahel.

The Sudan side will need to win at least 2-0 in the return leg to advance to the last four.

Elsewhere, Zambia’s Nkana beat Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien 2-1 in Kitwe while the other all Maghreb quarterfinals ended in a goalless draw between Zamalek and Hassania Agadir of Egypt and Morocco respectively.
