Former league champions Police FC will be eager to end their losing streak against Onduparaka when the two sides face off at Lugogo on Tuesday.

The Arua based side have enjoyed success in the previous five topflight meetings and haven’t beaten the Cops more than any other side in the division.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 5-0 drubbing at Namboole while the last meeting at Lugogo saw the visitors win 2-0 in 2017.

However, they will meet a different Police side that boasts one of the sharpest forward lines in the league and also have the league’s leading scorer in Juma Balinya.

The former Vipers and Lweza attacking midfielder will be the man to look for goals for Abdallah Mubiru’s side along with Johnson Odong, Basani Saafi and Ruben Kimera.

But what worries the hosts is their leaking defence that is one of the worst in the division as well.

Against an attack manned by the experienced Ceaser Okhuti, Police defenders led by Ivan Bukenya and company must be at their best to stop them.

Police lie 9th on the log with 33 points while Onduparaka are 7th with four points better.
