January transfer recruits Bronson Nsubuga and Isaac Otto are repaying for the faith vested in them with commanding performances and odd goals day after day.

Nsubuga and Otto both scored for the Prisons funded side in their 2-1 home win over Tooro United at the lake side Luzira Prisons stadium on Wednesday.

Left footed Nsubuga, who was signed from Amuka Bright Stars struck home a beautiful free-kick in the 26th minute.

Otto, a recruit from Kiboga Young added the second in the third minute of added time as the first half ended.

John Toki Byamukama got the consolation for Wasswa Bbosa’s coached side three minutes to the climax of the game.

Belmos Opio and Brian Majwega, both of Maroons were the only two players cautioned by referee Siraje Mpyangu.

Nsubuga was also named man of the match.

Maroons, who are coached by Robert Ssekweyama earned their 7th victory of the season, lifting them to 19 points, above SC Villa who visit rivals Express on Wednesday.

Tooro United suffered their 9th loss of the season in 26 game, falling from fifth to sixth as they remain on 39 points.

Tooro United entertains Mbarara City on Saturday, 20th April 2019.

On the same day, Nyamityobora will host Maroons at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.
