Wanderers will face familiar foe ACC in their opening 50 over league game at the lakeside oval in Entebbe.
ACC is the more confident of the two sides after picking up their 1st win against Premier last weekend but the game against Wanderers is a derby that offers a different perspective.
Both sides will be looking at qualifying for the top flight next season after a lot of near misses in the previous seasons.
ACC got the better of Wanderers in the single T20 game they played this year but the sides have been evenly matched in the longer version in the previous seasons.
Wanderers will have captain Denis Musali available after missing most of the T20 season and will be hoping new signing Brian Adriko can score bucket full of runs this season.
ACC not so busy in the off season will rely on the experience of Emma Odeng, Amos Kyazze, Brian Kiiza, Micheal and Aggrey Kintu to deliver the results needed.
The other Division 2 has Budo visiting Jinja SSS, Budo who only survived relegation last season on the final day will be hoping for better fortune this season. Team Captain Abu Mayanja is optimistic of the season and feels his side now the experience to cope with the talent in Div 2.
The students of Jinja SSS are no push overs at their home turf and Budo will need to work hard to get maximum points in Jinja.
