Joseph Ochaya’s TP Mazembe became the first side to reach this year’s Caf Champions League finals after eliminating Simba of Tanzania 4-1 on aggregate.

Emmanuel Okwi gave the Tanzania side hope with a goal inside two minutes but the hosts responded through Kabaso Chongo, Elia Meschak, Tresor Mputu and Jackson Muleka.

The win meant that five time Caf Champions League winners TP Mazembe have now gone 44 matches without losing a home match in continental competition.

Besides Okwi, compatriots Murushid Jjuuko (Simba) and left back Joseph Ochaya (TP Mazembe) played the high tempo game in Lubumbashi.
