Uganda Premier League (Match Day 29) – Wednesday, 1st May 2019 Games:

Nyamityobora Vs KCCA – Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara

Police Vs URA – Lugogo

Express Vs Bright Stars – Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium

Paidha Black Angels Vs Vipers – Green Light Stadium, Zombo

Ndejje University Vs Onduparaka – Arena of Visions, Bombo

2018/2019 Uganda Premier League champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) makes a long trip to Mbarara to face already relegated side Nyamityobora on Wednesday.

This will be one of the five games in the continuation of match day 29 that already had three games played on Tuesday.

KCCA, declared champions after picking a point in the one all draw away to Ndejje University seeks maximum points to avoid faltering again.

Team manager Mike Hilary Mutebi has acknowledged that he needs nothing but a win to complete the season on high note.

Mike Mutebi talks to the players

Addressing the media on Tuesday in the pre-match conference, Mutebi called for seriousness from his players.

As serious as the other matches we have been playing. We do not want to take the other mentality we had when we faced Ndejje University in the previous game. If you are a champion, you treat the matches seriously. Our range of points for the last three – four seasons has been 60-69. We need to finish with 66 points, winning the last two matches

Mike Mutebi, KCCA Manager

KCCA is currently on 60 points with two matches left on the menu.

Mike Mutyaba whose season ended with an injury in the game against Express will definitely miss the game.

Like Mutebi did against Ndejje University away, he is likely to give a run in, for fresh players who have not been granted as much playing time.

Faces as Sadat Anaku, goalkeeper Tom Ikara, Eric Ssenjobe, and others will make the trip.

Nyamityobora is merely playing for pride since they were relegated officially a fortnight ago.

In the immediate past game, Nyamityobora fell 3-0 at home to Tooro United.
