Sebastien Desabre says Uganda Cranes first target at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will be to get past the group stages.
Desabre was speaking to the media at Kabira Country Club on Monday in a Q&A session with the media organised by Fufa.
The French man admitted all opponents in Group A are tough but his boys are motivated and called upon all stakeholders to push in one direction.
“I have been monitoring all the players both local and international therefore I know their potential,” he said. “I and my boys are more motivated and we shall show that during our first game at AFCON 2019 against DR Congo in Cairo,” he added.
Our first target at AFCON is to go past the group stages. We know the teams, Group A is very difficult, the games will be difficult but we have the mental strength and quality to go out of this group.Sebastien Desabre
