Maroons Football Club forward Rashid Agau will in June this year undertake trials at Tanzania top-flight side, Young Africans Sports Club.
According to the player’s representative, Agau was invited for trials following a largely impressive season with the Prisons’ side this season.
The former Onduparaka playmaker joined Maroons at the start of the 2018/19 season as a free agent.
Agau penned a three-year employment deal and has only served one season.
For the previous season alone, Agau found the back of the net seven times including a well-taken brace against relegated Nyamityobora Football Club.
He was the club’s top scorer in the season with 7 goals to his name ahead of Pius Obuya and Seif Batte (4 goals apiece) as well the January mid-season signings Isaac Otto and Bronson Nsubuga (3 goals each).
In case Agau passes the trials in Tanzania and his move is blessed by Maroons, he will join a couple of Ugandans plying their trade in the Tanzania Premier League.
Emmanuel Arnold Okwi and Murushid Jjuuko are darlings at Simba Sports Club.
