Challengers are wounded from last weekend after losing to rivals Aziz Damani in a heated battle at the lakeside oval in Entebbe.
Challengers don’t have enough time to lick their wounds as they seek to get back to winning ways as they take on newcomers SKLPS.
SKLPS will need to be at their best if they are to take down a wounded Challengers at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. Challengers will be hoping for good weather so that their star-studded line up that has the likes of Hamu Kayondo, Arthur Kyobe, Shahzad Kamal, Zephaniah Arinaitwe and Olipa Rogers show their class.
At Kyambogo, Tornado Bee will be seeking for their third win of the season as they take on Patidar. This encounter is a six-pointer of sorts as the teams in the bottom half of the league battle for points that will keep them in the league.
Tornado Bee, the four-time league winners, lost a lot of experience in the offseason but they have managed to assemble a side with a lot of experience. One of their new recruits Falak Sher scored a season-high individual double century as they walked over Tornado. If they can pick up their third win of the season they will need atlas just two more wins to guarantee their place in Division 1 for next year.
Patidar put together a good side with some exciting youngsters such as Cosmas Kyewuta, Ronald Opio, Collins Okwalinga but none of them have delivered the goods for the newly-promoted side.
Patidar is rooted at the bottom of the table and needs to start winning games before they run out of the same to save their season.
