JKL Dolphins exited the 2019 National Basketball League Playoffs in the first round at the hands of five-time champions Power.
Dolphins’ Technical Manager, Fredricks Owoara, was clearly not happy with what his side was able to achieve (a fourth-place regular-season finish with a 15-7 record) and let go of eight players recently.
With the new season expected to tip-off early next month, Dolphins are reinforcing the team and have, thus far, brought in four new players.
John Balwigaire was the first to be announced by the Namboole-based club that has since added three more players.
Congolese forward Libe Makala returns to the club from Power while explosive shooting guard Innocent Ochera has been poached from Ndejje University Angels.
Owora has also looked beyond borders to bring in power forward Rhudy Kabasu Kabengele from Congolese side ASB New Generation Basketball Club
The quartet joins skipper Brian Namake, Jude Ochen, Joseph Wacha, and Daniel Monoja who are some significant contributors from last season that were maintained.
