Kobs Junior side Boks had no mercy on the Rhinos Junior side Kifaru in the lunchtime kick-off at Legends on Saturday.
While Kifaru was scoreless, Checkie Ahumuza, Humphery Olaunah, and Jude Kirya all crossed as Boks smashed their counterparts 32-03.
Starting off with a weak defense that suffered numerous attacks from the daring Kifaru, Boks capitalized on the changes that were made during the game to fix the mistakes that were being made like the handling errors and later on emerge winners of the derby.
“We looked somehow bad in yesterday’s game. We couldn’t score in the first 20 minutes because of our racks, scrums and the way we were tackling. Going into next weekend, we are going to clean up especially our defense, strategy of attack and everything else and I am positive we are lifting the title,” said Boks captain Derrik Ssedidandi.
Boks are top of the Central Championship League with 33 points after Matchday 8 while Kifaru is on 15 points.
Boks will be taking on Jinja Hippos Junior team next weekend as they look to cement their unbeaten streak having lost a game to Stallions at the start of the season as well as maintain the lead on the table.
