National Basketball League champions City Oilers have reportedly completed the signing of Michael Makiadi.

The Kenyan center joins the seven-time league champions after two seasons with Rwandan side Patriots Basketball Club.

Makiadi who has previously turned out for Power and KIU Titans in the NBL is one of the solutions to the big man deficiency at the club as Stephen Omony and Francis Azolibe are expected to be out of action for a while after undergoing surgery at the start of the year.

Oilers are also looking to bolster the squad with up four youngsters having reportedly released Abel Omoding, Daniel Jjuuko, and Josh Johnson.
