Impis Rugby Club make the dreadful trip to Kyadondo Rugby Grounds for a tie against Heathens in the Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League.

Going by the recent head-to-head performance between the two teams, Impis will be staring down the barrel of yet another ugly result. Since their return to the top-tier premier league, Impis have suffered defeats with huge margins at the hands of Heathens. First was 40-10 in the Uganda Cup and then 59-03 in the league.

The youthful Makerere-based outfit started this season well, earning a losing bonus point against Mongers but they have slid further back with each passing weekend. A 38-08 loss in Jinja was followed by a 44-03 defeat in Bweyogerere.

Heathens, on the other hand, have had steady progress in their campaign. The current holders beat Pirates 24-19 before going two games without conceding a try against Buffaloes and Rams.

Mohammed Athio has made two changes in his Heathens front row. Ronald Kanyanya starts at hooker and Emmanuel Byamugisha returns to the playing squad. In the midfield, Gerald Sewankambo starts at inside center with Innocent Gwokto.

Emmanuel Katuntu has made six changes to his Impis squad from the last match – three in the pack and three in the backs. Edward Eriaku makes his first start at the front row, Kennedy Muhumuza returns after one game out but will be playing without his partner-in-crime Pius Mpoza.
