2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup (Round of 32 – Return Leg)

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) progressed to the round of 16 in the on-going 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The development followed a hard fought 1-0 win on the road against Nyamityobora at the Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara City on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

Striker Charles “Neymar” Lwanga scored the all important goal on the stroke of full time as KCCA completed a double over the FUFA Big League entity.

KCCA had won at home 4-2 during the first leg played at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

The other clubs that won on the same day include Onduparaka, Police, Wakiso Giants, Express and Tooro United.

Tooro United outwitted visiting Mbale based Kataka 3-1 at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal to advance 3-2 on aggregate.

Onduparaka gritted their teeth to eject Luwero United 1-0 at the Kosovo ground in Luweero and progress 1-0 on aggregate.

Police advanced 10-1 on aggregate following a 5-1 victory in the return leg to better the 5-0 home win at home over Calvary.

Wakiso Giants made easy work over Water 5-1 on aggregate with the return leg ending 3-1 in favour of Douglas Bamweyana’s side.

Wasswa Bbosa’s Express beat Kyetume 1-0 at Wankulukuku and progress 3-2 on aggregate.

On Sunday, 11th April 2021, Mbale Heroes will host Gaddafi at the Mbale Municipal Stadium in the return leg.

Gaffafi won the first leg courtesy of Joel Madondo’s first half penalty.

Stanbic Bank and Kansai Plascon are the sponsors of this championship that this year round only attracted the top and second division sides.
