• Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League – Matchday Five
  • Mongers vs Buffaloes – House of Pain, Entebbe | 4:00pm

Buffaloes march to Entebbe for a crunch tie against Mongers in their second successive midfield battle of the 2021 Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League.

Having stunned Hippos in their most recent match, the visitors will be targeting another victory against their closest competitors. The hosts on the other hand suffered a shock loss to Rhinos.

The two teams are separated by one point and one team (Rhinos) on the log in fifth and seventh place with Mongers ahead.

Edrine Lemeriga has made changes to his front row, swapping Ochaka Kenneth and Kafeero Robert and bringing Ebau Daniel at hooker. Fabian Tonda has done the same with his front row with Jackson Wako and Elijah Segawa but his hooker Joseph Kagimu retains his start.

The key battle to look out for will be at flyhalf between Mongers’ captain Paul Angana and Buffaloes’ Donald Oketayot. Angana switches from the familiar scrumhalf position while Oketayot will be playing to cement his position as the first choice number 10.

In opting for a balanced 4-4 split on the bench, both teams appear to be going for a strong finish.
