I am happy to receive this award. I thank the organizers, players, technical team, my bosses at URA Football Club and the authority. It is a motivator to me to fight for more accolades.

He hinted on the need to win a domestic double but believes the title race is still wide open.

“We have only played two matches in the second round. It is still too early to predict who will be the champion. I know it is between us (URA), Vipers, Express and KCCA. Any of these clubs can win the title. As URA, we seek a double (league and Uganda Cup)” Ssimbwa disclosed.
