  • URA 3-1 Bul

URA completed a rare double over Bul with a 3-1 win at the Arena of Visions and keep pace with leaders Vipers.

Brian Majwega, Cromwell Rwothomio and Shafik Kagimu scored for Sam Ssimbwa’s side while Walter Ochora netted Bul’s consolation.

Majwega opened the scoring a beautiful free kick on the hour mark but Ochora equalised for the visitors two minutes later heading home from a corner.

Kagimu separated the two sides in the 57th minute before Rwothomio completed the job with a goal in the 73rd minute to hand all points to the four-time champions.

URA remain second due to inferior goal difference but have same points (42) as Vipers after 18 games.

The four-time winners face Villa next on Wednesday 21 while Bul, 10th on the log with 21 points will host UPDF a day before.
