  • Tooro Queens vs Makerere University (SHE MAK) – Midday

Makerere University Women Football Club (SHE MAK) will go into Tuesday’s clash against Tooro Queens seeking for redemption.

The University Side suffered defeat to Uganda Martyrs High School, Lubaga in the first game of the 2021 FUFA Women Super League played on Monday at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Fred Ndawula, the head coach of Makerere University believes his charges are ready for the task ahead of them.

“We lost the first game but that is behind us now. Our target is to get a good result against Tooro Queens to get back to the rails. The players are still committed and will give all in this game,” he stated.

Ndawula however, is aware of the threat that Tooro Queens pose and he is not taking the game lightly.

“They could be playing in the top tier league for the first time but there are experienced players on the team and that makes them a tricky side.” He added.

Tooro Queens under the stewardship of Rogers Ayesiga won promotion to the FUFA Super League after overcoming Asubo Gafford Ladies in the promotional playoffs.

Some of the key players include Winnie Babirye, Sumaya Komuntale, Anita Ainembabazi, Moureen Afoyo and Margaret Kayima among others.
