Kyetume Football Club piped visiting Busoga United 1-0 at the Nakisunga Ssaza play ground on match day 19 of the 2020-21 Uganda Premier League.
Left back Richard Matovu scored the all important goal for the side christened as “The Slaughters”.
Matovu’s goal arrived in the final stanza of the game with the game possibly destined for a possible stalemate.
The opening 45 minutes had ended goal-less with Kyetume missing a penalty when defender Musitafa Mujjuzi, the usual penalty taker for the side blasted over his kick from 12 yards.
Midfielder Nicholas Kasozi was named the pilsner player of the match for the outstanding individual display in the game.

Kyetume marked their return to the Nakisunga ssaza play ground with a victory after playing at the FUFA Technical Center, Mandela National stadium – Namboole and Mighty Arena since the past two seasons.
This was only Kyetume’s third victory of the season which puts them to 16 points from 19 games played as they remain in the 14th position.
Busoga United remained in the 13th place with 20 points off 19 points.
Meanwhile, Police returned to the top four with a convincing 4-1 home win against Kitara at Lugogo.
All Police’s goals came in the first half from Ben Ocen (brace), Frank Tumwesigye and Hassan Muhammod.
Kitara’s consolation was scored by Patrick Kusemererwa in the 53rd minute.
Onduparaka lost 2-3 to a 10 man MYDA outfit in Arua, Soltilo Bright Stars shocked Express 2-1 at Kavumba whilst Wakiso Giants and Vipers shared the spoils goal-less at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Match day 19 resumes on Wednesday, 21st April 2021 with a couple of games to be played.
SC Villa host URA in Bombo while Mbarara City shall be home to KCCA at Kakyeka Stadium in Western Uganda.
