Thursday, April 22, 2021:

Rwenzori Group:

  • Terrazo and Tiles Vs Kigezi Home Boyz – Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara city (4 PM)
  • Luwero United Vs Tooro United – Kosovo ground, Kasaana – Luwero (4 PM)
  • Proline Vs Ndejje University – MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo – Kampala City (4 PM)

Elgon Group:

  • Arua Hill Vs Gaddafi – Barifa Stadium, Arua City (4 PM)
  • Calvary Vs Paidha Black Angels – Aba Bet Green Light stadium, Arua City (4 PM)
  • Mbale Heroes Vs Blacks Power – Mbale Municipal Stadium, Mbale City (4 PM)

Six more matches will be played on match day 6 of the 2021 FUFA Big League.

Three games will be played in each of the groups; Rwenzori and Elgon.

Rwenzori group table leaders Tooro United under head coach Edward Golola traveled to Luwero United at the Kosovo ground, Kasaana in Luwero.

In the Western Uganda derby between Terrazo and Tiles against Kigezi Home Boyz will face off at the Kakyeka stadium, Mbarara city.

At the MTN Omondi Stadium in Kampala, Proline takes on Ndejje University. These are two former clubs that once featured in the Uganda Premier League.

Arua city plays host to two matches; Arua Hill will take on Gaddafi at the Barifa stadium while Calvary and Paidha Black Angels shall play at the Aba Bet Green Light stadium.

Mbale Heroes and Blacks Power lock horns at the Mbale Municipal Stadium.

The home side will miss their two players (Joel Ayella and Brian Olega) who were suspended because of involvement in incitement of violence in the home game against Arua Hill played on 15th April 2021.

Match day 6 commenced on Wednesday, 21st April 2021 with Kataka’s 1-0 win against Maroons in Mbale.

Peter Lusimbula scored the solitary strike of the game marred by heavy rains.

This was Maroons’ third loss in a row in a season that is very competitive.

Only three clubs will be promoted to the 2021-22 Uganda Premier League.

The top team per group (Rwenzori or Elgon) earn direct slots whilst the third one is promoted via a promotional play-off.
