Rwenzori Group: Proline Vs Water (Monday, 26th April 2021)

The first round of the 2021 FUFA Big League (second division) officially climaxes on Monday, 26th April with a single game on the menu.
Former Uganda Premier League entity Proline entertains Water during a Rwenzori group contest at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the heart of the capital city, Kampala.
The 2019 Uganda Cup winners have a chance to close down on the leaders (Tooro United) with a victory.
Proline has 10 points from 6 matches, six points shy from Tooro United.
Water’s immediate past game ended in a 1-0 loss away to Nyamityobora at the Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.
Proline on the other hand squandered a 1-0 lead to draw 1-all with visiting Ndejje University at Lugogo.
Anthony Bongole, head coach at Proline is expected to assemble a familiar side with the likes of Nicholas Ssebwato (goalkeeper), Hakim Kiwanuka, Hamis Kiiza Diego, Brian Umony, Savio Kabugo, Rogers Mato, captain Noordin Bunjo and others all expected to feature.
Water on the other hand will also vie for maximum points as they try to avoid relegation to the regional league.
Former Maroons striker William Kibi is now at Water and currently the club’s top scorer with four goals.
Other players of substance at Water include Abas Katende and Ibrahim Kitenda who have managed a goal apiece.
The second round fixtures are all yet to be released by the FUFA Competitions Department.
Promotion and Demotion:
Three clubs will be promoted to the Uganda Premier League by the close of business of the FUFA Big League.
Two of these earn direct slots after topping their respective groups (Elgon and Rwenzori).
The other club is determined via a promotional play-off.
Four clubs (two apiece per club) are relegated to the respective regional leagues.
On every match day, the FUFA Big League now has at least one match televised live courtesy of the sponsors; Star Times, a pay television company.
