  • Olila High School Vs Lady Doves – 12PM

Forward Fazila Ikwaput and midfielder Riticia Nabbosa will be in the spotlight as Lady Doves face Olila High School WFC on Tuesday in the FUFA Women Super League.

The duo currently playing with Lady Doves was once at the Soroti based outfit and helped the team to win the FUFA Women’s Cup in 2017.

The two will be key for Lady Doves as they were in their convincing win over new comers Isra Soccer Academy.

Nabbosa orchestrated the team’s dominance in the midfield while Ikwaput was in sublime form, scoring four of the five goals Lady Doves scored.

She hopes to add on her tally and confident that they will earn maximum points.

“I’m happy that I scored four goals and helped the team to win our first game. We definitely want to collect another win because that draws us closer to the target of progressing to the next level.” She told Kawowo Sports.

Olila High School on the other hand suffered a narrow loss to She Corporate and the target according to coach Saddam Pande Cifu is to make quick amends.

“We need to bounce back in our next game. We created chances in the first game but I think we failed to take them away. That is where we will try to improve as we face Lady Doves.”

The coach also believes the arrival goalkeeper Lucy Angel, right back Gillian Akadinda and centre back Eunice Ariokot bolsters the team ahead of Tuesday’s clash.

The trio had S.6 Exams on Monday and missed the first game but immediately travelled after the papers and joined camp.

Lady Doves won the last meeting against Olila High School, nicking a 1-0 win in Soroti.
