Football, like ordinary life is equated to an expedition traversed from one point to another.
The grueling football journey has a couple of stages boldly covered over the years.
From talent identification (scouting), coaching, grooming (nurturing) to real competitive matches, a footballer undergoes several hurdles to a typical professional material.
Definitely, the baby steps at the delicate infantry matter a great deal and it is upon this background that a lot of emphasis has been laid on rich grassroot programs.
Such programs entail the inculcating of basics of the game, techniques and tactics, discipline as well as other life skills taught in the talk and counseling sessions time over and again.
Kampala based Prosper Soccer Academy is one of the many football schools and academies established with the sole purpose of preaching and achieving all the aforementioned agenda.
Founded in 2019, Prosper Soccer Academy has firm tap roots embedded on teaching the basic football skills and the rich values of the game considering the tender age bracket of the 4 to 17 year-olds.

Denis Namanya is the director of this academy who revels in the true cause of this institution that currently has tried and tested coaches as Ronald Ssali and Allan Nsubuga, among other trainers.
Namanya is humbled for the great work being executed by the football mother body in Uganda, Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) towards the efforts of grassroot football development.
He also hints on the key agenda of Prosper Soccer Academy (developing raw young talents), infrastructural development with a loud call for parents to entrust them with their children.
First, I would like to appreciate FUFA for a good job done in youth football development, for me as a country we can only get better. However, I feel as Ugandans, we can only help and develop more youngsters that is what Prosper Football Academy is doing. We hope to grow in facilities as well but also most importantly, the coaches we have will do a great job. So, trust us and bring the kids.
Denis Namanya, Director Prosper Soccer Academy
