  • UCU Lady Cardinals 1-0 She Corporate
  • Lady Doves 1-1 Olila High School

Olila High School need a brilliant run in the second half to salvage a point off Lady Doves on Tuesday in the FUFA Women Super League.

Lady Doves had taken the lead through sharp shooter Fazila Ikwaput but the Soroti based side bounced back with Siporosa Amoding finding the equalizer midway through the second half.

Lady Doves who had won 5-0 against Isra Soccer Academy started on the front foot, making several attempts at goal.

They had made changes to the team that started against Isra Soccer Academy with Rashida Nankya and Aziz Zuena replacing Joweria Nagadya and Sarah Nakuya.

Ikwaput opened the scores in the 35th minute when she made a perfect run off the right wing before sending a ferocious strike into the roof of the net.

Nankya thought she had doubled the lead for Lady Doves five minutes after restart but her goal was ruled out for offside.

Olila returned recharged after recess and got chance after chance. They troubled Lady Doves backline especially during dead ball situations.

The equaliser eventually came in the 75h minute when Amoding picked a loose ball after a goal melee to slot home.

Grace Aluka had the chance to win the game for Olila two minutes to fulltime when they got a free kick outside the area.

The former Kawempe Muslim player instead went for power rather than technique and her effort sailed over the bar.

Both teams will return to action on Wednesday with Lady Doves facing UCU Lady Cardinals while Olila High School will play Isra Soccer Academy.
