Limping Onduparaka will attempt to continue their decent run over Express FC at Wankulukuku when the two sides meet in the league on Wednesday.

The Caterpillars will however face off against a different side in the Red Eagles who are vying for their first league title since 2012.

Coming into the game, Onduparaka have lost their last three games while Express FC beat champions Vipers 1-0 to rekindle their title charge last week.

Wasswa Bbosa is aware of the threat and history the visitors pose but believes his side will come out on top.

“We know they (Onduparaka) have picked points off us in the past but am confident we are turning things around this time,” said Bbosa who adds that mistakes from the previous win over Vipers have been corrected.

With 24 points from 20 games, Onduparaka understand the need to get back to winning ways as they are only six points shy of relegation.

Express will still miss the services of George Senkaaba, Arthur Kiggundu and Abel Eturude who are injured and the trio is joined by suspended Isa Lumu who picked up a third booking last week.

A win for the Red Eagles will keep them just four points off the summit with nine games to go.
