  • Blacks Pirates vs. Hippos – 3:00pm

The target for Black Pirates going into the penultimate round of the 2021 Nile Special Stout Rugby Premier League is unchanged.

For Bobby Musinguzi, the man in charge of the Sea Robbers, it has been about staying in the title race to the final day.

And on Saturday afternoon, the Pirates will face a stun test when they host Jinja Hippos at Kings Park in Bweyogerere.

This season has been testament of the big strides Jinja Hippos have taken over the past couple of seasons. While they are content with a fourth-place finish this season that’s all but sealed, a match up with Pirates is one Hippos will put their hand up to be counted.

The Teams

Musinguzi knows the magnitude and importance of the game and has named the best team for the job. Hooker Nathan Bwambale, prop Alema Ruhweza, scrumhalf Conrad Wanyama, fullback Timothy Kisiga and utility back Michael Amolo are back in the starting XV.

Meanwhile, Hippos head coach Robert Seguya has massively switched up his backline. Twafik Bagalana starts at outside centre, John Echeru is back at flyhalf, and Denis Etwau in at fullback.
