Stanbic Uganda Cup 20201 (Round of 16) – 1st Leg:

  • Onduparaka 0-1 SC Villa
  • Express 2-1 URA
  • UPDF 1-3 Vipers

Sports Club Villa scored a late-late strike against Onduparaka during their 1-0 victory on the road at the Aba Bet Green Light Stadium in Arua city on Saturday, 1st May 2021.

Super substitute Faizo Kazibwe was the hero with the only goal of the evening during the first leg for the round of 16 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The Jogoos carry the 1-0 lead coming to the return leg that will be played at the Army Military Stadium in Bombo on Tuesday, 4th May 2021.

Meanwhile, Vipers beat UPDF 3-1 at the Army Military Stadium in Bombo.

UPDF took the lead through Brian Kayanja in the 11th minute.

Vipers then staged a gallant fight to score three goals in the second half through Joseph Bright Vuni (own goal), Ibrahim Orit and Ceaser Manzoki.

Express recovered from a goal down to down Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) 2-1 at the Betway Mutesa II Wankukukuku Stadium.

URA broke the deadlock through Ibrahim Juma Dada as early as the second minute.

Express replied through Martin Kizza Lubwama and live wire striker Eric Kenzo Kambale.

The round of 16 continues on Sunday, 2nd May 2021 with first leg duels at different venues.

The MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo has a double header with Proline versus Mbale Heroes the early kick off at 1 PM before Police will face Soltilo Bright Stars at 3:30 PM.

At the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso Giants face Tooro United and Maroons will face KCCA at Prisons ground in Luzira.

Stanbic Bank Uganda is the headline sponsor of the tournament with paints gurus Kansai Plascon the other partners.
