Newly promoted Uganda Premier League outfit Arua Hill Sports Club officially announced their arrival into the domestic players’ market with the acquisition of pacy forward Yusuf Sharif Saaka.
The West Nile based entity that is currently stationed at Barifa stadium agreed terms with the free agent.
After spending close to five seasons at Kyetume, Saaka agreed to move on for greener pastures when the Slaughters were relegated to the FUFA Big League (second division).
“I have played all my life almost at Kyetume Football Club here in Uganda from the lower divisions, FUFA Big League and the Uganda Premier League. I want to continue playing in the top flight league.” Saaka confessed in an earlier interview on Kawowo Sports.

Last season, Saaka was Kyetume’s top scorer with eight goals (seven recorded by the Uganda Premier League secretariat).
The eight goals came against other relegated parties Kitara (home and away) and Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA).
He also scored against Soltilo Bright Stars, Vipers as well as Wakiso Giants.
Arua Hill was faster to snatch Saaka from other willing parties as Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Mbarara City and Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF).
UPDF had already tabled a Shs. 6,000,000 deal for the winger-cum-forward that Saaka humbled turned down.
Saaka had a brief spell in Seychelles at Lions Football Club in 2018 – 2019.
Meanwhile, management of Arua Hill is already plotting for new life in the top flight football with key additions as the construction of their own stadium in Arua city progresses.
Hussein Mbalangu is still head coach although the club reportedly tapped onto Mbarara City’s Livingstone Mbabazi.
