Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club has secured talisman Living Kabon.
Kabon penned a three year deal at the tax collectors’ side after the two parties agreed the terms before the player appended his signature on the contract dotted lines.
The player who is comfortable on either flanks has been on the radar on the club for a long time.
Kabon has been a free agent since employment contract at West Nile based Onduparaka Football Club.
Last season, Kabon scored 11 goals at the Caterpillars and his key performances were pertinent in the club’s UPL survival mission.
URA is on a mission possible of beefing up their team ahead of the 2021 – 2022 season.
Having renewed the employment contract of their midfielder Julius Mutyaba, the club is now eyeing fresh players as beef up.
Kabon joins other done deals as Uganda U-20 defender Simon Baligeya.
Utility defender Geofrey Wasswa and left back Derrick Ndahiiro are in advanced stages with the club.
The club failed to convince Mbarara City’s forward Jude Ssemugabi as the player prefered to extend his stay with the Ankole Lions.
Meanwhile, URA continues with the soul searching mission for the head coach following the expiry of contract of Sam Ssimbwa.
Ssimbwa has been embedded in talks with the club management for extension.
