“Express Football Club would like to place on record its thanks to a player who has shown his 100% committment and made his mark during one of the best seasons in our club’s history.” the statement adds.
Apart from the Uganda Premier League title, he lifted at the end of last season (our 7th in the club’s history), Muwanga also won the Golden Glove award for keeping the most clean sheets (13).
“Muwanga will forever be engrained in the club’s folklore for his contribution. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours” the statement adds.
Express has also poached Joel “Vama” Mutakubwa as his potential replacement.
