KCCA FC has confirmed the new backroom staff that will work with coach Morley Byekwaso ahead of the new season.

Byewaso was recently announced as the new Coach for the Lugogo based outfit after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal replacing Mike Mutebi who was sacked midway last season.

Whereas the majority of the backroom staff that have been at the club are maintained, three people including Jackson Magera, Robert Kabuye, and Statistician Allan Nsubuga are not part of the new technical team named.

The aforementioned trio has always been close to Mutebi and reports indicate they will move with him to Vipers SC if the deal finally materializes.

Badru Kaddu who has been the trainer at KCCA FC is now elevated to the position of assistant coach, filling the void left by Byekwaso.

Ssaka Mpiima, a former captain at the club returns, this time as one of the assistant coaches. He has been serving in the same capacity at UPDF FC.

Moses Oloya has been retained as the goalkeeping coach while Richard Malinga retains his role on the senior team as coach for the defenders but he has also been appointed will as the head coach of the Junior teams, replacing Magera.

Ivan Ssewanyana will continue serving as the Team Doctor alongside Emma Tusubiira as the Physiotherapist.

The club has also added Felix Ayobo (who works with the Uganda Cranes as well) to act as the fitness and conditioning coach.
