Uganda female footballer Sandra Nabweteme has moved to a new club in Iceland after only fourth months.

The forward has completed a loan move from Þór/KA Akureyri to Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar which plays in the second division (deild kvenna, known as Inkasso deild kvenna).

The former Kawempe Muslim striker arrived in Iceland in March this year and has only featured in 7 games for Þór/KA Akureyri.

In the aforementioned games, Nabweteme has been able to score three goals and assist on one occasion.

At Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar, she will be tasked to help the club earn promotion to the top tier league (Úrvalsdeild kvenna).

It should be noted the club suffered relegation last year, finishing second from bottom.

Nabweteme was influential as Kawempe Muslim won the first two FUFA Women Elite League titles in 2015 and 2016 finishing as too scorer in both editions.

She moved to USA after earning a scholarship at the South West Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) where she graduated last year.
