2021 CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup:
Group A (Saturday, 24th July): Uganda Vs Tanzania – Bahir Dar International Stadium (2 PM)
Uganda U-23 head coach Morley Byekwaso has named the team that will face Tanzania during the group A contest of the CECAFA U-23 challenge cup at the Bahir Dar International Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
There two changes from the team that played a goal-less draw with guests Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) last Sunday.
Midfielder Bright Anukani and left footed forward Najib Yiga are drifted into the starting line up to replace Steven Sserwadda and Derrick Kakooza respectively.

The other nine players are maintained with Charles Lukwago in goal.
Skipper Enock Walusimbi starts at right back and Azizi Kayondo at left back with the KCCA duo of Musa Ramathan and Peter at center half.
Bobosi Byaruhanga starts as the only holding midfielder with a collection of offensive minded players Anukani, Karim Watambala and Julius Poloto in midfield.
Yiga and Steven Mukwala start in the quest for the much needed goals.

Match officials:
Djibouti’s Saddam Houssein is center referee for this duel. Houssein will be assisted by Rashid Wais (Djibouti) as first assistant and Eritrea’s Micahel Gebru Eyobiel as second assistant referee.
The fourth official is from Burundi, Thiery Nkurunziza.
With Tanzania on three points, Uganda needs an outright victory to progress to the semi-finals.
