Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has released the remuneration plan for the Uganda U-23 team (Kobs) currently taking part in the CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
The plan entails the daily camp allowances as well as the bonuses.
Per day, USD 50 is paid to every member of the contingent (players and officials), with USD 500 for each member should the team reach the semi-finals.
Each member will be entitled to USD 700 for reaching the final and a bonus of USD 1000 for winning the trophy.
This was duly confirmed by Ahmed Hussein, the FUFA communications director.

“The remuneration of the Uganda U-23 team at the on-going CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup indicates the payment structure of the every member of the contingent from daily allowances to bonuses” Hussein states.
Uganda played to a goal-less draw with guest country Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the opening group A.
The Kobs take on Tanzania in the second group A game on Saturday afternoon for the respective two countries.
Tanzania had defeated DR Congo 1-0 in the second game of that group (A).
