The Kobs scored two points in the group matches played after two stalemates; 0-0 with DRC and 1-all with Tanzania.

Tanzania had earlier defeated DRC 1-0 to progress as group leaders on four points.

Kobs head coach Morley Byekwaso expects the players to raise their game against DRC with an improved performance.

“We want to better our performance and finish in a respectable position. We eye an improved performance against DR Congo” Byekwaso stated.

Byekwaso is expected to name a couple of changes on the team that played in the group stages across all the departments in defence, midfield and attack.

Forward Ivan Bogere who was rested in the first DRC duel and was only introduced in the Tanzanian contest could start the game.

Defender Gavin Kizito Mugweri and midfielder Sadam Masereka may be accorded playing time.
