For a long time now, Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy has enjoyed a symbiotic relationship with the mother affiliate; New England Navigators Soccer Academy in Boston Massachusetts in the United States of America (USA).

This relationship dates as far back as 2014 when Entebbe Navigators Football Academy was birthed by Duncan Kasibante, the director alongside other personalities.

Along the way, Entebbe Navigators has continued to get support from the US based academy.

The latest donation included an assortment of sports gear ranging from jerseys, footballs, stockings, soccer boots to face masks.

There were five sets of jerseys, 15 footballs, three sets of stockings, 70 pairs of soccer balls and 20 face masks.

The donated items were delivered by the academy ambassador Johanz William Tusiime.

Tusiime, on a brief holiday in Uganda officially handed over the items to Entebbe Navigators Football Academy management, well represented by the general coordinator and head of coaching department, Yasa Lukuba.

The handover ceremony took place at Fault Free Tours and Safaris Motel along Kiwafu road (Plot 109) in Entebbe Municipality (Division B) on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

In attendance were also some players, parents and the other academy members.

“I encourage the children attached to the Entebbe Navigators Football Academy to remain focused, hardworking and determined in order to reap big in future. The donation of this sport equipment is to help your journey” Tusiime noted in a brief speech.

In appreciation, Lukuba lauded the New England Navigators team for the generosity and care extended with the donation to Entebbe Navigators Academy.

Lukuba expressed his delight with the support always extended to the academy as he vowed to remain performing excellently in the various competitions engaged in.

“Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy is humbled for this support from New England Navigators, friends and well-wishers. We vow to continue working hard as we strive for excellence” Lukuba noted.

Entebbe Navigators Soccer Academy is currently situated at Entebbe Comprehensive Secondary School and runs children from the ages of 4 to 18 years.
