Titans Vipers and SC Villa clash in what is a rescheduled league fixture on Wednesday at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.

The game could have happened earlier in the season but postponed twice – first, Villa didn’t have the licence to feature in the topflight and then Uganda Cranes engagement in Europe and Asia.

Both come into the game on the back of stalemates – Vipers were disappointingly held to a 1-1 draw with BUL that denied them chance to go top while Villa drew goalless with UPDF.

Vipers are second on the table with 30 points and a win over the visiting Jogoos who are 14th with 16 points will lift them to top for at least 24 hours.

SC Villa captain Meddie Kibirige is confident of victory at Kitende.

“We have prepared very well and we are gunning for all three points,” said Kibirige.

Team News

Vipers could be without Bobosi Byaruhanga and Ibrahim Orit who left national duty with injuries but everyone else is available for selection.

SC Villa could be without defender Kenneth Ssemakula who suffered a mysterious sickness while with the national team in Europe and Asia.

Key Stats

SC Villa have won three (3) away games against Vipers in the last nine (9) encounters as many as the Venoms with 3 ending in draws.
