Jeff Kabagambe

Just a week after the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU) Vice President – Administration stepped down, another management member has sent in his resignation.

Jeff Kabagambe, the Deputy Vice President in charge of Motor Rallying in the motorsports governing body, has resigned.

Kabagambe was in his second term as the DVP Motor Rallying and had spent six years in the position.

Reasons for his resignation are not yet known to Kawowo Sports.

Kabagambe’s resignation comes a day before the FMU General Assembly was due to confirm his suspension.

Kabagambe and two other management members took part in an event last year that was deemed illegal.

All officials who participated were suspended but the management’s suspension could only be effected in the AGM.

FMU will be holding their AGM on Saturday, 5th February.
