Soltilo Bright Stars and Police shared the spoils 1-all during match day 18 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Kavumba Recreational Stadium, Wakiso on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Yasin Mugume gave Soltilo Bright Stars the lead before Juma Balinya made amends for the 2005 Uganda Premier League champions.

Mugume scored the opener two minutes into the second half with Balinya scoring the equalizer 16 minutes from full-time.

Police called for the first change of the game as the second half kicked off.

Veteran forward Frank Kalanda was rested for the pacy midfielder Johnson Odongo.

The second change came on the hour mark when Emmanuel Mugume paved way for January signing Marvin Oshaba.

Soltilo Bright Stars rested goal scorer Mugume and Joseph Janjali took his place in the 67th minute.

With 12 minutes to play, goalkeeper Tom Ikara limped out for Abdul Kimera.

Soltilo Bright Stars captain Nelson Senkatuka came off for Denis Kaka Omony in the final 10 minute and Jamil Kisitu Nvule replaced Emmanuel Loki on the stroke of full time.

This was the 7th draw for Soltilo Bright Stars which takes them to 16 points but remains 14th on the 16 team log.

Police played to the 6th stalemate as they have now fetched 18 points from 18 matches in 10th place.

Meanwhile, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) humiliated a 10 man Wakiso Giants 5-0 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.

Viane Ssekajugo scored a haul (four goals) and Ibrahim Juma Dada added the other.

George Kaddu, a left back at Wakiso Giants was red carded by FIFA Referee William Oloya in the 70th minute.

Match day 18 continues on Wednesday, 16th February 2022 with two matches on the menu.

Tooro United is home to Sports Club Villa at the Buhinga Stadium, Fort Portal.

At the Barifa stadium in Arua city, Arua Hill shall play-host to BUL.
