According to Scandinavian mythology, Loki was a Norse god who contrives evil and mischief for his fellow gods.
For Emmanuel Loki, his mischief on Tuesday was enough to hand table leaders KCCA FC defeat at Kavumba Recreation Centre.
The forward scored the lone goal of the game as Soltilo Bright Stars won 1-0 to end the first round on a high.
The all-important goal of the game came in the 66th minute off Nelson Senkatuka’s assist.
In a closely contested affair, the first attempt at goal came from KCCA’s Allan Okello who forced goalkeeper Hassan Matovu into a brilliant save.
On the other hand, Cleophus Fiat had the chance to fire Bright Stars into the lead at the half-hour mark but KCCA had goalkeeper Derrick Ochan to thank for a wonderful save.

Loki and Senkatuka combined to produce the solitary goal of the game with the former shooting from outside the box to drill home.
The hosts would go on to defend resiliently and hold onto the scoreline.
Despite the loss, KCCA finished the first round top with 29 points after second-placed Vipers SC had also lost by the same scoreline to Busoga on the same day. Bright Stars on the other hand moved to 8th place on 20 points.
The League will resume in February next year.
