Vihiga Queens women football club defeated Kolwa Falcons 3-1 on the road during a 2022-2023 KFK women cup contest at the Moi stadium in Kisumu on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

New signing Winnie Babirye officially announced his arrival at Vihiga Queens with a goal during this victory.

Janet Moraa scored as early as the third minute.

Ten minutes later, Babirye added the second commanding a 2-0 lead by the mandatory half-way recess.

Bertha Omita made it three on the hour mark before Falcon Queens pulled a goal back with 19 minutes to play.

Babirye joined Vihiga Queens on a two-year deal from She Mak.

She joined another country-mate Anita Namata who crossed over after a brief stint at 2022 league champions She Corporate.
