Overview:

Busoga United have won three of their last five games including beating URA away while Gaddafi are yet to win a game in 2023

Jinja based sides Gaddafi and Busoga United renew acquaintances in yet another highly anticipated derby in the locality.

The two sides don’t only share locality but the stadium too which adds impetus to the clash.

Busoga United are the on form team coming into the fixture with only one defeat in the last four games despite exhibiting a good performance in that loss to Villa.

On the other hand, Gaddafi are winless since the start of the second round and played to a goalless stalemate in the last outing with BUL FC.

Wasswa Bbosa’s men won the reverse fixture 1-0 thanks to Steven Munguchi’s second half strike but haven’t won since December 20 when they oversaw URA 2-1.

A win could lift the Soldier Boys to as high as 5th position while victory for Busoga United will see them open a six-point gap between them and the relegation zone where they spent most of the time in the first round.
