Henry Malinga was at his best in his first game as KIU Titans’ player after he inspired his side to 50-13 victory over Sharing youth in game that was played at Kansanga.

The veteran Center top scored with game high 17 points and 3 rebounds in his first game for the Titans since moving from two time league champions Stanbic Warriors.

Malinga’s partner in crime, Geoffrey Soro who also joined KIU Titans this season collected 13 points on the night. Sharing’s loanee Emanuel Okumu was the team’s top scorer with just 8 points and 3 rebounds in his side’s futile fight.

The off season overhaul has earned the varsity side a bulk of votes as one of the title contenders in the new season.

KIU won their second game in a row after beating Our Savior in their league opener and will be looking to keep the momentum.
